Meghan Agresto, Board President (2023-2026 term)
Managing the nearby Currituck Beach Lighthouse since 2005 and not wanting to move when her two children became school-aged (or put them on the bus for 4.5 hours a day), Meghan - along with Director Sylvia Wolff - began the process of finding a way to start a school in Corolla. A two-time UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, she speaks Spanish fluently and spent three years living in Europe, one as a Fulbright scholar in Athens, Greece. Her two children both graduated from WEVS, her older son as its first 8th grade graduate and her younger son as its first 9-year graduate having started as a kindergartner in the 2012-2013 when WEVS had 15 students. Meghan also serves on the Capital Campaign Committee and Facilities Committee.
Bryan Daggett, Vice President/Treasurer (2022-2025 term)
Bryan comes to us after a 30+ year career with DuPont, which allowed him to travel extensively, both nationally and internationally. He joined our board in 2012 and continues to volunteer his services as WEVS, both in an instructional capacity and as a handyman. He splits his time between Corolla and Delaware where he is on a board of his local YMCA and is helping them with a capital campaign. Bryan chairs the Facilities Committee for the board.
Al Marzetti, Vice President (2023-2026 term)
